Writing by Stephen Allen

The internal tempest rages on

From pen to roiling page

Unbound, left to rend and tear

Without thought or care

Rant and rave, hear and there

Burdens too much to bear

Words of hope lust and fear

As the end of the page draws near

Stephen’s words bleed emotion and passion. A writer writes for so many reasons and the pages fill with thoughts, ideas, fears, and hopes. It’s a never-ending story that once begun only ends with the last breath. A journey that is lonely with ups and downs but the excitement and determination urge one on. One earnest plea from me – write on!
    Congratulations Stephen!

  3. An internal rage it is to get that flame of writing started and going to the end. I love the poem, Stephen. As always your poems and writing are enlightening, my friend.
