Recycling Time by Joni Caggiano

inhaling grey dust

my dying skin

red cells pump

time within

your cells mixing

a sour soup

of my regret

our broken loop

floating away now

tasting you

allay soaring on

in a sky dazzling blue

Joni writes of beginnings and endings and then starting anew. The way she combines biology and poetry is attractive, bold, and effective. It appears that lessons unlearnt might be repeated in some other life or time frame. There’s no escaping what’s in store for us, call it fate, karma, or living in the moment. Time ensures that no one slips away so easily.
    Congratulations Joni!

  5. Beautiful Joni…. You give us sips of Time, tastes of the Truth…”red cells pump time within: and that love that didn’t make it to the end of Time… This style is lovely, like the essentials we hope to keep in our memory…when all else fades away… You are amazing! Much love to you deep poet and friend❤️
