Moon’s Dust by Jeff Flesch

drips drop from the top of a

stopwatch

as the minutes until we meet cascade

over my heart

watching the fear depart

say you’ll love me until the last act of the art

leaves forever

and may we impart

and imprint upon our collective souls

the deep need

for a fire so bold

continuing to burn

as the effervescence of the wildness

returns

gifting us both a love present

until the last dance of the moon’s dust

leaves this earth

Jeff adds sparkle to his words with moon dust. A lovely depiction of want, apprehension, but the belief that love will triumph. ‘Until forever’ is the amount of time that I hope this love will travel. It’s bliss to know that one can love and be loved with so much honesty and passion. Let’s sprinkle some moon dust and watch what happens. I believe the end result will only be magical.
    Congratulations Jeff!
