MASTICADORESINDIA began its publishing journey on September 1, 2021.
At the time, I wasn’t sure how things would progress. It was a leap of faith and creativity, and I think it’s safe to say that we have landed smoothly on our feet.
This couldn’t have been possible without the talented writers and the loyal readers who have given MASTICADORESINDIA a heart and a soul.
An online publication cannot merely survive upon the strength of its words. It needs observant eyes, receptive minds, and open hearts to kindle its spirit, drive its passion, and accentuate its literary image.
What image did I have in mind for MASTICADORESINDIA?
A place where writers could give their writing a loving home. Where it doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re from, how many words you have under your belt, if your writing conveys meaning and can influence minds and touch hearts, it’s worthy of being published.
There’s more to this love affair with words.
We at MASTICADORESINDIA are forever grateful for the submissions we receive. I’m elated to mention that we are lucky to have so any wonderful writers reaching out to us. We also appreciate those writers who agreed to share their creative works with us at the very start of our journey.
Several have remained with us and are now contributing writers. I’m mighty proud to have you aboard. Your faith in a new publication gave MASTICADORESINDIA the wings to fly even higher and we shall continue to soar.
It’s June now and summer is at its peak in India. Hot, hot, hot – not only the weather but the writing that is coming up this month.
I’m a little behind on this month’s schedule. The truth is better than a poorly written lie. I will be reaching out to all the writers whose writing will be featuring this month. A few submissions are sitting in my inbox. Extremely excited to read them.
We all feel the need to share and hope that we are understood by those who hold a special place in our lives.
Writers and readers, you are very special to me, and your visits and interactions give me immense pleasure.
I hope to express my thoughts and feelings again. Hopefully soon.
Let’s walk on a bridge of words together – hand-in-hand, admiring the creative beauty thriving around us.

Can’t believe it’s been a whole nine months already, but I did do the count and yes, you’re so absolutely right, as per usual. Nine months of great writing! Masticadores India has introduced me to so many interesting, talented and inspiring writers I would have most likely never met, had it not been for your project. You curate and edit this site in your very own incessantly supportive and positive manner. It’s such a pleasure to be involved. Thanks for putting in so many hours and so much genuine passion. It shows!!!
