Touch and Taste by Jeff Flesch

every little touch, and taste

takes me

to another place

desire afire, living inside the tranquility of the seas

with dark blue and indigo too

a backdrop of the love inside our truth

they live in the skies burnt amber, and copper

filled jewels, raining down love on me and you

Jeff’s poetry transports the reader to places and times that are significantly bound to the senses. One often notices that certain memories are linked to particular tastes, smells, and sounds. And the wonderful line – “a backdrop of the love inside our truth” is a brilliant way of expressing that not all truths are the same and the meanings they bear are sacred to the ones who have found them. A wise and charming piece of writing.
    Congratulations Jeff!

You evoke feelings (set in mesmerizing settings,) of deja vu.
Flashbacks – of familiar tastes and colours of love you touch and describe, in a gentle wistfulness and poignancy; penned with a vast emotional range.
    Charming indeed ❤❤
