Leaving Flesh to Create a New Breed by Steve Gun

To leave flesh behind.  To go against love and friends.  To dismiss economic security. Giving up any purpose to be in society. No clubs or restaurants. Leaving flesh to pursue a maddening hermetic existence.  A little space with four walls, books, paper, pencil, and music.  Pondering and pondering—causing hypertrophy of the brain.  Life intoxicating everything up there; the mind awakened once again to see with true eyes, filled with awe and wonder.  In this little space with four walls, reinvigorating the stupefied mind.  Ridding the mind of drudgery, lies, and the strangulation of society that once bogged down the mind into destitution and lifelessness.  Four walls with nothing—a catalyst for something. A catalyst for an awakening.  The mind craving this reinvigoration now more than ever.  Pondering, wondering, and giving the mind up once again to the beautiful mystery.  The healing power of knowing the unknown is powerful; the soul once again breathes and is sensitive to every sensation.  Alive once more to feel—to live.

Steve’s wisely and wonderfully elaborated realisation gives one goosebumps. To know and then unknow isn’t an easy endeavor. If alone we come and alone we go is the blunt lesson of existence, then let’s prepare right now while we struggle to find peace and meaning in a world that grows shallow with every breath. That inner calling could never be stronger, but are we willing to listen and face it with renewed vigor? Stop, think, and decide for yourself…
    Congratulations Steve!
