Devotion and Care by Jeff Flesch

sometimes

we hold on too long

believing in that which we see

when in reality

everything worth knowing

lives underneath

the one stream

where junipers come to fruition

with devotion and care

we dare

to sit in silence

disrupting

the status quo fanfare

for the love built

out of the actions we take and share

Under the one stream. There must be countless things to learn. I’m definitely in for sitting back and letting it roll over me for a while. Thanks for this poem, Jeff.

You’re so very welcome. Wish I could put my feet in the river a few days and just wait to see what wisdom arrived. Perhaps in October a long weekend will happen.
