Placid Sea by Jeff Flesch

The moon, a placid

sea, reflecting back

a mantra

of meaning

watching the sun set

along a coast, depleted and

dry

tears leak

from porous eyes

reflecting back

a mirror

of vastness, and of limitation

infinite being

of love

always, and forever seen

Jeff’s writing inspires hope and comfort, mirroring the emotions evoked when witnessing a brilliant sunset at the seashore. There’s much to contemplate as nature displays its own moods through its elements, obeying the dictates of time, transitioning like us humans. There’s much to reminisce, joys and sorrows, and the knowledge that as beings our spirits are limitless. Can we dive in deep enough to experience the inner bliss?
    Congratulations Jeff!
