Misty Morning by Jeff Flesch

nature

speaks to my heart

held up

with frozen, and fractured

feelings

developed

over long travails

of windy nights

and misty morning melancholy

the antithesis

of

a sun rising

over the horizon

and within my heart

knowing

you’ve always been there

and will never depart

Jeff’s poetry binds nature and humans into an eternal conversation. When the hurt is too much, nature offers its healing touch. It can soothe, it can revive, it can guide one towards believing. There may be dark days, but they will not stay. It’s the power of faith that relieves one of the pain.
    Congratulations Jeff!
