I’m just a poor struggle-ing poet

I know I’ve got it down below

The trouble, gets caught on my intestine

My metaphors get stuck and can’t show

I’m told I do well writing nonsense

A genre few bloggers blog on

I bought training books from my op shop

To build up my knowledge upon

You show great promise poet……

Keep at it……

  1. Terveen Gill says:

Don’s poem is dedicated to the silly fun so many of us forget to relish once we’ve supposedly matured. Creativity doesn’t have a right or wrong edge to it, and what some may view as nonsense and unworthy of laughs might just be rigid mindsets suffering from acute constipation. No amount of pushing can get that chuckle out.
    Congratulations Don!
