Broken Things by Jeff Flesch

I like broken things

the way they crumble in my

hands

and, the way they left

for a time

during last Autumns’ dance

these memories

are of promises made

under a tree

bearing a broken heart

for a name

Jeff, this is so tender and full of love – each word is chosen perfectly. You have found your niche and it is uniquely yours. I must say these lines truly touched me so much.

I am not entirely sure I have found my niche yet. It is still winding and changing. So glad to be able to read you here, at MasticadoresIndia, and at MasticadoresUSA. We are fulfilling our dreams, and I am happy that you not only found your rhythm, which is so beautiful, but it blesses the rest of us. Thank you, sending love and blessings to you, my friend!

Jeff writes of brokenness with a warm and comforting touch. To hope, realize, accept, and heal, not fearing from doing it all again is an invigorating feeling. Memories revive the hurt of past days but somehow the future beckons to do it all again. To more heartaches and broken moments.
    Congratulations Jeff!
