Hypothermia by Unspoken

Rain falling down the windowsill

Endless shivering

Aimless staring at the windowpane

Gonna fall asleep

Anger, no. Somethings wrong but

No feelings when you’re gone.

Unspoken encases the last breaths and the final stage before death in a poetic representation similar to hypothermia. It’s peculiar how we hold on to so much in life – sorrow, anger, jealousy, regret – but the minute we close our eyes forever, it doesn’t even matter. To realize and acknowledge can be the greatest warmth that we allow ourselves.
    Congratulations Unspoken!

Congratulations on your beautiful piece. Although it is a short piece it has a powerful impact of sadness and that sense of loss when you find yourself alone. Thank you for sharing with us, blessings and have a great weekend. Hugs, Joni
